DK Site Design - website design at an affordable price

111.   DK Site Design prices are as advertised.  A £49 NON REFUNDABLE deposit is payable when ordering your site.

2.  All domain names will be registered in the clients name and as such the domain name belongs to the client, not to DK Site Design. 

3. All DK Site Design websites carry the message "created by DK Site Design"  in small characters at the base of each page, with a corresponding hyperlink to our website.  A link to the host site will also appear.

4. Any requests for changes to your site after live approval by you, where all snagging issues have been mutually resolved will incur a £5 admin charge (per change). Larger changes requiring additional pages are charged at the rate of £20 per page. However, minor amendments such as change of address or telephone number will incur no charge.

5. On completion of the site and after full payment has been made, DK Site Design will provide you with a log in and password for your site. This will allow you to make changes to your own site and amend content in the future. A working knowledge of Microsoft Word will be necessary to manage your site. DK Site Design will provide you with a manual (in the form of either a CD or book) in order to help you manage your site. You will also receive free online help*, via email and a telephone helpline charged at the rate of 50 pence per minute from a UK landline*. DK Site Design do not accept responsibility for any changes that you make to your own site.

6.  All our sites require you to submit your own text (copy) for inclusion on your new website. All text should be divided into sections relevant to your page names and submitted by you in Word format or an equivalent (electronic) format. Any photos, logos or graphics you wish to include should be submitted by you in either Jpeg, png or gif format, either by post on a cd or by e-mail as an attachment.  All text and images submitted must be free of copyright and DK Site Design do not accept responsibiltiy for any infringement of copyright law arising from any text or images provided.

77 7.  All logos designed will be 850x150 pixels. All rights and copyrights to the logo will be transferred to the customer once payment has been received by DK Site Design. A total of 5 alterations can be made to the logo once a basic draft has been agreed. Further changes will be charged at £10 per change.

     8.  We reserve the right to include a screenshot/page of, and link to your completed website on www.dksitedesign.com

9.  A website "page" is generally intended to mean a page of content of approximately A4 in size. Individual pages with more than A4 sized content may be charged at the additional page rate of £20 (per A4 sized page of content).

10. Websites designed by DK Site Design will be constructed using certain pre-made or stock elements and templates. For this reason, the "header" for your site must be a certain size (850x150) and can only be placed in one position on your site. Please see previous DK Site Design examples.

11.  All DK Site Design websites are optimised for viewing on the most commonly used viewing platform, that is, on computers running Internet Explorer 6 (or above) or Firefox with a screen resolution of 1024x768 (or above). I can offer no guarantees of correct function across all browser platforms.
